Apple frosting

Cold last night (-5C) so frost on everything.
Rain by the middle of the day and 5C by this evening - and still going up when I came home from a damp run.
Got a bargain when went to buy a new toaster for church/cafe. There was a reduced one @£32.99 which looked as if it was what we needed but when I went to pay it came up at £3. The woman queried it with 2 other people and was told it was a discontinued line and if that was what the till said then that was the price, I certainly wasn't arguing!
Also bought a new iron as I dropped the old one once too often.
