Border Tails

By Swannie

Edinburgh nights.

A trip up to Edinburgh today to see Dad. I played a few games of canasta with him and his pal, John, then the three of us got a taxi down to the Caley Picture House, which is a Wetherspoons pub. After a bottle of Prosecco, we left and walked up to China Red, a wonderful buffet restaurant up the side of the Usher Hall.

After our meal, I had ages to wait on a train, so John and I walked down to Waverley, had a quick drink in the Booking Office, another Wetherspoons, and I then I caught the train home. A great day again.
