Abstract clouds

I cannot compete with the purple-pink skies you in the UK experienced today.  The BBC posted a few pics on FB. All to do with the type of particulate matter in the atmosphere and the way it disperses light apparently . . . but I thought this might fit abstract Thursday as there is no particular theme or keyword on the first Thursday of the month.

       Happenstance I was on my regular river walk with Kiki and snapped the extra first.
