Serendipity ...

Not at all the shot that I intended to post - I had taken some quite striking landscape scenes covered in newly fallen snow - but this image stood out as being accidentally effective - I clearly meant to focus on the water droplets but I love the way in which the tree etches its own intricate pattern against the building behind, which is lit up by early morning sunlight. Best viewed large.

The day also ended well, with victory for the school in Aberdeen University's Debating Competition. :)
