This hat was worn today by one of the 196 new police officers at Parade Day at the Scottish Police College at Tulliallan. The young officer in question is my youngest son's partner. Our families are so proud of her.
It was a great morning of marching, speeches and presenting awards. The Chief Constable's address was very well received. Impending inclement weather meant the parade was foreshortened. After a few quick photos we left, and later the eight of us went for a nice meal to celebrate her graduation.
