Covent Garden

Went with some friends to see a charity show in Covent Garden this evening. It was held at St Paul's Church in Covent Garden, and was cast members from different West End musicals singing carols or reciting verse, etc. It was in aid of the Make A Difference Foundation, who work with HIV and aids sufferers in the UK and Africa.

It was a really fun night. The standouts for me were Cedric Neal (I think that was his surname - beautiful voice) and some of the cast of the Lion King, who did an African-style version of Silent Night - stunning. At the end, Brian May came on to play guitar for the final singer!

Couldn't really get any decent photos inside the church, but did get this of the Christmas lights in the piazza - mistletoe and disco balls!
