Glasgow excursion

It’s getting light as I pull into the Ingram Street car park. Today is sales training for Cucumber, with colleagues coming in from all over the country. It’ll be fun and, hopefully, useful.

Twelve hours later we’re all sitting in Alchemilla on Argyll Street. We’ve added my friend Debbie to the group and lost our sales trainer, Phil. The food is really interesting and it’s a fun evening.

I’m staying with Mark and Debs just around the corner next to Kelvinpark. There’s a new Heras fence enclosed compound for the weekends Bytenight event. Ironic security for well meaning rough sleepers.

Main learning today: Jo is extremely particular about food. There was nothing that she wanted to eat at the vegan cafe we had lunch in and all she could manage at Alchemilla was almonds.
