It's cold up North

It was certainly cold today as I drove from Durham across to the west of England and down through the lakes to my parent's home. It was cold, bright, clear, frosty and very foggy in places but the scenary was stunning as the light changed in the sky. I wish I had been able to stop in some places where the vista was breath taking but there was nowhere safe to put the car. I did manage to pull over and get this shot though as HGVs rattled quickly past me with worrying frequency. I don't know Yorkshire very well but some of the areas I drove through today would look brilliant in National Geographic :-) I'm really grateful to have experineced it in such fab conditions.
