out for a saturday spin

A day of two halves - a sunny morning followed by a windy, rainy afternoon!

Been busy bees here today as it was the local church Xmas fair so we had to pop down to see what was going on and ended up sampling the tea and cake - of course! - and winning on the bottle stall so we came home with bottles of cider vinegar, whisky and white wine! Mum was very happy with that haul!  Noticed this car in the car park on the way out - an impressive ride to pick up your loaf of bread and pint of milk from the local supermarket! And much nicer to look at than all the usual modern cars!

And then in between showers this afternoon I made it to the local horticultural hut again for another tray of  violas so I can hopefully get those planted on a nice dry day!

Watching lots of sport now and catching up with some reading!
