VITAL ORGAN

One of the choirs I belong to sang here this morning at the annual remembrance service for people who have been bereaved. I have no religious leanings whatever, but Hymns Ancient & Modern and all the carols and CofE traditions were part of my education and they're deeply ingrained. It's always a very moving service with a local brass band playing at the beginning and end, our pianist accompanying us during the songs we sing while people hang stars with loved ones' names on a tree, and the church organist playing this lovely instrument perfectly for the other carols.

Since then I haven't managed to do anything at all useful with my day apart from look online for a Christmas present for my Mum.
