Famine Memorial

A day of two halves.  A brilliant morning and early afternoon and then the weather went downhill.as predicted.

This memorial is to the Irish and Highland people who sought refuge in Glasgow in the mid 1840s.

The side of the boat has the quote - "Even the Birds Were Silent in Grief"
