Nordic charm

Kate realised she’d forgotten my birthday so suggested she take me for dinner the week of 3rd December. I got confused and didn’t realise she meant on Monday the 3rd, until she texted to say she couldn’t make it, then later to say actually she could, but by then I was a bit tired and not sure I wanted to go out, but had an energising soak in the bath and cycled up to Kupp for some Nordic delights where she filled me in on her work dramas.
