What a day!!........

.......we’ve had!
Someone in this house had a birthday today. (It wasn’t me)
We began with a lovely walk along the beach (as we do), followed by preparing lunch for 2 of our 3 kids and their families. We didn’t get as many as we though but those that did come were well fed I hope. Roast pork, noodle salad, mango salad and a delicious lemon tart made by our daughter in law.
This image I took of a team of new recruits learning how to launch a surf boat safely. Not an easy task. They were lucky the waves were tiny for a first effort!

I’m knackered now........maybe I’m getting old too............
