Special award

We had our Christmas Brunch wind-up yesterday at OGH.  It's always a lovely occasion, everyone brings a plate for a shared lunch, we hand out a few awards, and stuff like that. 

Yesterday was ever so slightly different, on account of it was the Rower and me that got the special award.  Members of the Year!  How about that.  A lovely surprise - for once I had absolutely no idea something was going on behind my back.

The other bloke in the picture (kindly taken by our Federal Member for Boothby, Nicole Flint) is Dene Cordes, our President.

Just quietly I think it might have ruffled a few feathers amongst our longer standing committee members, but by golly we've worked hard.
