Cactus Wren

There was a lovely outdoor brunch this morning for all wedding folks who stayed at the hotel.  After a nice visit with friends and a few pictures, we packed up and headed for the airport for the 4-hour flight home.  Stepping outside brought a rather rude awakening--no more 60-70 degree temperatures.  It's back to winter.

I love these cactus wrens, seen quite commonly in AZ.  They are much larger than the House and Carolina wrens we have back east and this one seemed not the least bit phased by me, letting me get quite close.  It's much better in large.
