So the blood test yielded results: impressive white cells number, meaning major infection, which prompted the vet to test him for FIV. The result was positive. He's staying for monitoring at the clinic. The antibiotics course they're putting him on will last for a few weeks, but he should pull through. Hurray. Of sorts.

He was a bit better today, he ate and drank and was out for a while in the sun.
