Hoswick Bridge

This is the road bridge over the Hoswick burn. It was rebuilt in the early 2000's after the old bridge was destroyed by flash floods.

The only reason I was in the middle of the burn and able to take this view was that a certain dog dropped her ball in the burn and thought I should fetch it!

The other side of the bridge has been the scene for Heron, Kingfisher and Golden Oriole sightings in the past while the side I'm in has been the place for otters on a number of occasions.
