German Blight

The blip title is a bit of wordplay from the Shipping Forecast.  I could continue along the lines of "Wiesbaden, Hessen. South 4 or 5, occasionally 6 later.  Poor, becoming moderate."  This will require you to be familiar with the format, so, if you're not, just enjoy the music and we'll carry on.

I was supposed to have an appointment at the doctor tomorrow but I thought i should ask if they thought it was a Good Idea.  They wrote back almost immediately saying "Come and see us next week, and don't go to work until 48 hours have passed without an 'incident'".  So that's me staying here until Thursday.

At least my fever has broken, he said, searching for some sort of positive.

Oh and i also saw this - it works on many levels.  It is quite an appropriate depiction of one aspect of my job.  Some of you though might see it as representative of a certain political situation in Europe.  I'll leave that up to you.
