Rosalie McKee

A young Bavarian-Scottish-American filly was born today at the Kittenalm ranch to the south of Munich, close to the idylicAmmer Lake.

By the autumn, she was to be known as "Rosie", a proper Bavarian name and moved to our place at Grosskitzighofen about half an hour away. Angie's childhood dream of having a "proper" western horse.

Some of the names in Rosie's pedigree  are quite well known in the history of the Quarter Horse and include on the maternal side, her great, great grandfather "Two Eyed Jack", a 1961 sorrel stallion and the leading all-time sire of the  American Quarter Horse Association
