Mountains on our menu creamed off with beach visit

A bright day with mild temps and we took into the hills togehter with a friend of ours here. Our plan was of getting to the high plain of Omalos, but we never got there since we took a side road onto a little village and after a meal there in a small taverna, what was like being at the house and home of the landlady, we descended down to the North coast and had a drink at a taverna on the beach before we all headed home again. 

We never got closer today to the Levka Ori than what you see on those images... some 20 kms off still. In the extra's one of the village Lakkoi, what's built so specially across a ridge in the hills.. and one from the booth at the beach of Chrisi Akti again with the sea so calm... I spotted 2 swimmers in there today!
