Old Harry Rocks

Today was one of those exceptionally wonderful days with my Wednesday friends! We went for a walk out to Old Harry Rocks (how appropriate is that for Wide Wednesday's theme of 'something old'!). The wind was brisk, to say the least, creating decidedly wild water and skies. I didn't venture as close to the edge as I normally would - there was too much danger of being blown off balance..... If you look carefully, you can see two figures over on the cliff towards Old Harry - I think they were probably/hopefully keeping a safe distance from the edge.

So much better seen in large to enjoy the detail in the waves.

After our very bracing walk, we headed to 'The Pig On The Beach', a rather nice restaurant that has become our Christmas treat tradition.. Cocktails, a beautiful hake dish, lemon posset and then coffee and mince pies - we were feeling very indulged..... :))
