Ahead of the Game

A patch of blue sky called me away from my chores for just 20 minutes and this little bloom sparkled in the sunlight.

It’s Photinia Red Robin and should flower in March. I’ve heard of people who have their Christmas shopping done by end September, 3 months early. Perhaps this flower is one of those!
