The Lozarithm Lens

The Old Forge (Thursday 13th December 2018)

A contender for Monday's blip that lost out to the cotoneaster, I retook this view of the berries on the stinking iris that grows beside my tiny pond this morning, with a bit of fill-in flash substituting for the sunshine we had then.
I have blipped this plant many times before, sometimes these winter berries and sometimes its beautiful flowers.
It's been a day of writing Christmas cards and organising gifts, punctuated by a car trip to Tesco as I was dangerously low on essential supplies. The missing parcel has not shown up but someone called to read the meters. My exciting life.
I took more pictures of Smokey last night after posting my blip and have added one as an Extra to it.

I could have been listening to the Deluxe 5CD version of the Moondance album today, if Amazon hadn't delivered my package through the wrong letterbox.
