Scottish Wildlife

Had the day off, given there was a Council meeting for the Scottish Wildlife Trust in the afternoon. Not that I said much, but first full Council meeting, finding my feet.

Popped to the park in the morning, and the number of wildfowl on the Pond told me clearly that the otters weren't about. A couple of juvenile Cormorants were plenty entertaining though. Had a choice between walking round the coast from the house for the meeting; or hopping on the bus and tram to Balgreen to look for Waxwings, then walk from there.

In the end misanthropy won out, and I headed round the coast to avoid people. Unfortunately, save for some usual suspects, it also avoided all of the wildlife. Ah well. Still better than sitting at a desk all day.
