My temporary reading room....

this morning Terry got a rather nasty surprise when he went down to the Chalet, he was just going to turn up the heat ..... we had a last minute booking from a regular customer......frozen pipes somewhere under the bathroom, the drain in the bathtub had frozen.   Coupled with the very slight drip that has been going on for a few months....he was faced with a tub that was almost overflowing!   Thank god Alex called to come for the weekend, we might not have gone down there for another few days....the potential disaster that could have ensued doesn't bear thinking about!!!!

Poor Terry had to crawl under the Chalet, not a pleasant place for sure.....and i had to sit in the bathroom watching to see when the water started flowing down the drain!!!!  i took my book and was actually quite comfortable.   It took about 20 minutes of him apply heat etc., for the water to begin to leave, thank god!!!

Back home again, and thankful that we dodged that bullet!!! 

Noodling away at a new painting (see extra)....gonna leave it here for the time being, quite like what is happening, but it's still not there!
