Digging up the park

The usual Friday routine - breakfast at Barb's, recycling, and grocery shopping. I wanted to have a look at the construction site for the new washrooms in the park and the foundations are underway.  We noticed that there was digging going on at the other end of the park so we went to investigate. The boardwalk was taped off and there wasn't any worker close enough to ask what was going on. I really am a Nosy Nanzy so I'll be having another look next time we're in town.  
Really busy in town, maybe for Christmas shopping, or maybe because a storm is coming our way. Really busy at the dock too.
Extras: matching accessories; not the owl and the pussycat at the recycling centre (the owl's been there for a long time but the little dog is a new whimsical addition.
