Our walk at Woodbridge was bracing to say the least, 3 degrees and strong south easterly winds, it certainly blew the cobwebs away especially down on the banks of the River Deben.    The sun made brief appearances as you can see by the light on the muddy flats.   
We noticed lots of the birds (in the extra) which I think are Curlew Sandpipers, they seemed oblivious to the cold and were frantically searching the mud before the tide turned.   
We've now got gale force winds and heavy rain with the odd snowflake too.
