Lake Dunstan

The size of this structure above Lake Dunstan can't be realised in a photo but it is quite huge on the hillside. It was built at the end of the construction of the Clyde Dam. The hillside was slowly slipping into the lake. There are drains behind these huge steps to prevent rain from seeping through and destabilising the hillside. It's quite a conversation piece.
