Long way home

My site meeting in Dubai was cancelled this morning. So I decided to take the long way back to Abu Dhabi, around the unused bypass and the truck road.

I was hoping to find the road that features in Mission Impossible where Tom Cruise drives to the Burj Khalifa. I think I found it but didn't have a clear view of the Burj, so took these camels instead.
