Pointsettia layers

I think of my parents a lot. I particularly think of Mum as the 5th anniversary of her death approaches.

Mum always had a Pointsettia at Christmas. I remember the one my sister helped her buy on the Christmas dinner table the day after she died. It was very poignant.

This year I've felt ready to have my own Pointsettia. It sits on the set of carved tables Dad bought home from India 70 + years ago.

It looks and feels right and gives me much pleasure.

Today's gratitude: For Katie and Fay, my 2 remaining aunts. I've had the privilege of speaking to both this weekend. I treasure their love and contact with them.
