Cave Memorial Church

It was in this church I took the carol service tonight. All went well and people really enjoyed it. We had a young lad sing, it was divine. He sang O Holy Night. Last year he sang it as a boy soprano but his voice has changed and oh the power in it. The church is stone and the acoustics are amazing. A relief for me that it is over and that it went well now I can concentrate on getting ready for Christmas.
This church won the architects award in 1931. No nails in it, the pews are all hewn wood and put together with wooden brads I guess you would say. The pulpit is carved and polished wood and is truly beautiful.
It was gifted to the area by the Burnett family who then were big landholders in recognition of the men that worked on the land back then
