Withered

It was a much better day today, though there's still ice in the puddles that the sun didn't reach.

We've had a quiet day, gathering our strength for the week ahead, when we're off on a round of family visiting.  The first test will be getting the cats to the cattery.

We had a little walk this afternoon, ending up in a bookshop, as we so often do.  This was growing in a raised bed nearby. The label said 'dahlia'. I wonder if it will survive the winter.
