Just a dusting

The snow that eventually starting falling last night didn't come to much and by morning there was just a dusting on the ground and rooftops. This was the view from my bedroom window.

I've had a quiet day at home writing the last of my cards and wrapping some presents, plus the usual Sunday chore of ironing while listening to the radio.

Now I'm watching the BBC Sports Personality of the Year, not that I know who half the candidates are, but their stories are always inspiring. I was certainly impressed with young Billy Monger, who won the Helen Rollason  Award.
