Neverland

Wendy and Peter Pan. A full house at The Lyceum. Mostly families, with small kids. The anticipation was palpable. So, pity this poor fella who had to step onto the stage to tell us all that two of the performers were still in hospital after an accident in the matinee. It being Edinburgh there wasn’t any heckling and nothing was thrown, instead he got a short round of applause and we all filed out to the soundtrack of sobbing children. Although free Luca’s ice cream at the exit points calmed a few down.

So, instead it was back to Ruby’s flat with chips while Joe and I kept up to date with the joyous news from Anfield via social media.
