A Door Able

Spent the morning dismantling the stove, and the throat plate, to unblock the lum.  The kitchen has become a smoke hoose.  Cleared the lum as much as possible; we await the results.

Visiting various folk in the afternoon – all in Stromnesss. 

In the evening we danced the Restless Ghost.

Last night’s whisky tasting saw a very confident, yet not overly assertive, Tullibardine come 1st out of 12 whiskies.  The Talisker 18 year old held its ground.  A 15 year old Caol Ila, unpeated, disappointed, as did Glenmorangie Tousail.  Glengoyne 18yr old acquitted itself well.  For an away fixture things didn’t go too bad.
