Buzzard

Always nice to get a beautiful bird in front of your lens.
The Buzzard (Buteo buteo) is a medium-sized to large bird of prey from the family of the hominids.
The buzzard is found in most of Europe and parts of Asia. He is predominantly a resident bird that hibernates in the same area where he breeds, except in the coldest areas.
The bird usually hunts in open land but nestles in forest edges. Normally the prey of a buzzard consists mainly of small mammals, amphibians (such as frogs) and small birds, but on occasion, he is also a scavenger.
It is also quite a lazy robber. He likes to watch at roads to wait for a prey to be hit by a vehicle and then to outwit him.
