Buds

A quick wander around the garden this morning yielded the first of the winter flowering cyclamen but as I put these iris buds down on the kitchen table their simple beauty won me over.  Pop back through my journal and the open flowers feature here and their each year, including recently.

A tricky afternoon appointment but promise of a Christmassy family evening ahead.
