Birchwood in purple

A bit chilly (-8 C) and extremely beautiful morning today at the time of sunrise, which coloured my backyard birchwood with these purple tones for few minutes, but that was enough for me to get this image. Rest of the day was very busy till 7 pm.

I also got a really nice surprise when I was starting to post this blip, when I got a call from the old friend, which I haven't heard anything on ten years. We had a long chat and decide to have more frequent contact in the future. I have strange feel that a call was a good sign and had some purpose in my life and plans...let's see.
