SOB - Dolphins

During the previous SOB week, the seas had been too rough for us to reach our intended destination of Yelapa. This week things were totally calm and we spent an enjoyable afternoon hiking to the waterfall and exploring this isolated little village on the south shore of Banderas Bay. The highlight, however, occurred on our return, when we motored through a pod of spinner dolphins. There must have been a couple hundred right next to our boat. Many were jumping out of the water and spinning around before landing, but I think this shows how close we were to these intriguing creatures.
