The slippery road ahead

We went on a very long hike the other day in the pouring rain. We went up to a church called Madonna della Guardia. Very beautiful but we couldn't see much of the landscape as we seemed to be in the clouds the entire time. Either way, even with the rubbish weather it was great to get out into the hills. The only downside was the icerink-like footpath bringing us back down that my girlfriend here is attempting to navigate.
