Brightening up the gloom

Walked the hound, shopped at whole food store and started A Christmas pudd not THE Christmas pudd. Chopped dried fruit soaked in orange juice and Madeira as ran out of brandy. Ran out of brandy last year and have annotated recipe with 'added rum'. New note required this year. Well booze is booze. 
Now catching up on book on tablet for book club. Gloom lit by Chrinbo lights and a hound with me on the sofa. Cosy.
