T87

Suzanne/Osuzanna had read that there is a Trumpeter Swan at a local lake, along with a variety of ducks we rarely see.  We headed there today, and were happy to find the swan, a heron, Common Goldeneyes, Ring-Neckeds and Buffleheads along with the usual Mallards and Canada Geese.  This swan is tagged T87 (in the extra).  According to Facebook, he has been seen in different Maryland lakes the last couple of years.  Hmmm, I wonder where the tag came from and how far he travels.
Thank you for your lovely comments for yesterday's heron.  It's always a thrill to find these birds in the winter.
