Cooking continues!!

Our daughter in law texted today inquiring about an eggnog/boiled custard recipe. I dug out Grandmother’s recipes. I couldn’t find her boiled custard recipe but I did find her homemade banana pudding recipe. These days, most people just use instant pudding and cool whip. Well NOT TODAY!! I attempted the whole thing from scratch and Hubs claimed it’s the best banana pudding ever!! I even made meringue for the first time in about 30 years!! ( We are well on our way to gaining that 400 pounds....)
We will eat stems and leaves after New Years! :—) Right now we are enjoying this cooking spree!!
