Much more settled after a good and long night’s sleep. And cold seemed to have abated.

So set to on cards and parcels. Queue at post office not too bad but was told they could not take parcels over 2kg - and that in any event if I divided the parcel I wished to send to friends in France into 2, it would be cheaper.

So new packaging. Repacked and this time got them away. My wife I then headed into town for a successful shop. Cards for posting just about finished. Christmas might just about be manageable!!
