Best laid plans

If you look very carefully, you can see a bridge which goes over the river. The stretch of water in the foreground is another river of water which has formed because the main river has burst it’s banks. We had to turn back as we couldn’t walk all the way to the mill as planned. It was just as well really as it bucketed down the minute we arrived home and I probably had walked enough for today, 3.5 miles and more than I have walked in a while.
