Val .....

..... doing bar squats.

Tonight's circuit training was taken by Pete and as usual he made it a tough session. Instead of the usual sets of 30 then 20 then 10 seconds of each of the 9 exercises, tonight it was 30,25 and 15 seconds. Those extra few seconds don't sound like much, but when every muscle in your body is screaming at you it feels like an eternity.

Needless to say I enjoyed every sweaty second of it. The new excercise in tonight's circuits was a variation on the usual squats we do. Tonight there was the addition of a broomstick to balance on your forearms. The idea of this is to make sure we keep our backs straight and arms outstreatched.

After the session, Val who occasionally takes the training session very kindly agreed to do some extra squats so that I could take a few photos ( smiling as she did them ). So today's blip is .....
