Square #8

The sun came out again today and we celebrated by doing jobs!
First the hinges on the kitchen door which over the years have bent so the lock no longer works. So Rob took the door off and fitted new ones. That went remarkably well so next to adjust the hen house ramp which was not closing properly. Also not too problematic.
Then the new gate into the garden. This to keep the new tenants dogs out! Unfortunately the bottom hinge wouldn’t slide on fully so a temporary fix needed and then the latch which went pretty well! See extra!
After that we went to fetch yet another replacement part for the wood stove which was in stock!
After all that I thought a little light needlework would be relaxing and finished square #8. It’s quite colourful!!
