Surfing Santa

The schools are out and so traffic is light and my commute is reduced to 20 mins. This is bliss.

Our new office legals are dragging though which is annoying, I'm chasing as hard as I can but we are at the whim of the other sides solicitor who seems to take while to do anything. The Landlord, us, the agent and our solicitor are trying to get it signed before the Christmas but it's not looking likely.

In other news I turned of a system today that we launched in April 2002, its run more or less constantly since. The only reason we turned it off was because the platforms it was developed on are now completely out of date and are no longer supported. The client have had it redeveloped but they were so happy with it they more or less made an exact copy (on slightly more up to date kit).

Last day tomorrow, still got some project stuff to sort out but I also have a client to see and lunch with our existing Landlord which will be entertaining.
