Norman Reviews

Out on Sherkin island this morning visiting Sue, the librarian there. Squally day, so Norman dropped in out of the rain. Gave us a few caustic book reviews to amuse us. He reckons he only borrows books these days for ballast. He got blown over in Storm Ophelia last year and finds a few books in the pockets keep him from getting airborne. His dog Bebe lay on the floor inside the door, coming over to me for the occasional rub.
