Modesty at Christmas

Today in Edinburgh’s Advent calendar the open building was the Anatomical Museum in the medical faculty. Photographs are not allowed as there are human skeletons on display such as William Burke, the Edinburgh murderer that provided bodies for the anatomy department. Under the Anatomy act of 1832 it is prohibited to take photos of human skeletons apparently. It’s not a view shared by the people there. At the entrance they have decorated some statues with tinsel, this one spares the guy’s modesty.
